Youth Bowling
Our Youth Bowling Programme (YBC) is restarting on Friday September 6th for our senior 5 pin bowlers and Saturday September 7th for the balance of the leagues. If you have a child who would like to try bowling, please call us and we will be pleased to help you.University Lanes offers an inexpensive and fun opportunity for children up to 21 years of age to get active and involved in a well-organized national sports program, managed by Youth Bowling Canada.
Friday Night 5 pin Seniors practice at 6:45 p.m. and bowl at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning;10 pin Bowlers practice at 8:15 a.m. and bowl at 8:30 a.m. Bowlasaurus 5 pin practice at 9:00 a.m. and bowl at 9:15 a.m. 5 pin Pee Wee, Bantam and Juniors practice at 10:00 a.m. and bowl at 10:15 a.m.5-pin Age Divisions

Your weekly fee covers your bowling and shoe rental, as well as going toward the end-of-the-year banquet and trophies. There is also a registration fee of $45.00 ($20.00 for Bowlasaurus); if you register and pay by August 31st, or $50.00 for registrations received after August 31st ($25.00 for Bowlasaurus).
In YBC, nobody has to "ride the bench." Every bowler is given a handicap based on their ability, so everybody competes on an equal basis. Our certified coaches will provide instruction and encouragement to your child.
